OrthoMolecular Products Betaine & Pepsin provides two essential components of healthy digestion: betaine HCl to maintain proper gastric acidity and the digestive enzyme pepsin to initiate protein breakdown. Working synergistically, HCl and pepsin support complete protein digestion, enhance vitamin and mineral absorption, and help maintain healthy gastric and intestinal flora. It provides hydrochloric acid to help maintain gastric pH, promotes healthy digestion especially of dietary protein, and supports overall nutrient absorption.‡
