Generally, no.   Manufacturers and distributors require that most of the products that we sell require sellers to adhere to a strict MAP (Minimum Advertised Price) policy.  If you are seeing a price that is cheaper on Amazon, look at the seller of record.   If it is not coming from a reputable company, it may be expired or not the same product.  One should be especially careful when purchasing supplements on Amazon. Yes, all of the brands of supplements that we carry are third party tested. 

They are not necessarily better.  It all depends on a person’s needs and preferences.  Liquids and powders are absorbed faster, but generally have a shorter shelf life, some may require refrigeration, and are usually more expensive.  Powders and liquids also offer high bioavailability and rapid absorption due to their already dissolved state, which is beneficial for those with absorption issues.  However, if one does not have absorption issues and do not care about faster absorption, pills are a comparable option. 

It is always good to consult with a medical provider before starting any new supplement.  Just because a supplement is not a prescription, does not mean it is safe.  Many prescription medications are patented versions of compounds found in supplements.  For example: red rice yeast extract contains a naturally occurring compound called monacolin K that is chemically identical to the active ingredient in the prescription statin drug lovastatin.
